Special bolt-on winch mounting pads are produced as standard for various 4x4 vehicles and SUVs. This makes the installation of winches a lot easier and quicker because the plate is made specifically for exact vehicle. In other cases, universal winch pads are used or original designs are made to suit the specific off-road vehicle.
